Even automobiles have many such meters and the newer models in fact, actually include things to control flow as well as have sensors and another use for flowmeters is to provide accurate measurements in places where there is possibility that a failure to do so can result in disasters such as in a nuclear plant. To be sure, any inaccurate measurement made by a flowmeter will cause a lot of loss in money, especially in the long run and it is also not all that good for various equipments and may even end up also creating a potential threat to one’s life.
