That phrase brings up an interesting point—learning how to learn is a large part of knowing how to learn to play piano. Like any learning experience, learning how to play the piano requires dedication and work. I’m the director of a middle school band. Many students sign up for Band assuming it’s an easy “A”. Before long, early morning practice, evening practice, and having to have a “pay attention” attitude lead most back to the counselor’s office to drop the class. Yes, our pianists march with the band, not pushing pianos, but carrying portable keyboards. They form an important part of our team. If you are ready to put your heart into it, you can learn to play piano. It may even lead to a life-long career.

Learning to speak Japanese was difficult for sure, but learning to write it seemed almost impossible. Not only were there no Latin cognates for me to cozy up to, there were no identifiable letters or even numbers. I left America and arrived in rural Japan armed with “How are You?” and “My name is Kristi”. I could not read a train station sign or even find the exit in a burning building if I needed to. However, throughout the course of the next year, free Rocket Japanese immersed in Japanese conversation, life and schooling, I slowly learned how to speak and ultimately read Japanese. My brother wanted to be a rock star and he had started a band. They played every alternate day at the local hangout. They were good and had a lot of enthusiastic fans. His birthday was coming up and when I was surfing the internet for a good gift for him, I came across these excellent cufflinks that were shaped like skulls and I decided that he would love it. His band was playing that day and they were trying out a new song. He was happy with my gifts and that day he got a massive order from a company to record his song and from then he wore my gift to every concert.

Playing worship guitar in front of a large congregation is a rush like no other.  It is so humbling to be able to praise the Lord with the music he loves.  I am in love with the Lord and I can’t glorify Him enough.  He is the reason I live and it is my honor to get to worship Him.  It was so easy to learn how to play the guitar with help from the Lord.  He has truly shown me the light and now I glorify Him with songs that are written solely for him.  It is great to be able to worship the Lord in this way.

The ability to feel what the other person is feeling is called empathy. Understanding how another person feel or empathizing with another person is a great social skill that can be learned through Acting Classes in San Diego. As a Watercolor Artist my painting recently won 2nd Place People’s Choice at the 2nd Annual Rocklin Fine Arts ”Membership Show” in Rocklin, CA. I am married to a man who encourages me and is supportive of my art pursuits. I have three grown sons. They are all married and each is a successful professional in his own right. Through my sons and their terrific wives I am the proud grandmother of five wonderful grandsons. Having reached this stage in my life, I am finally able to direct my attention to doing what I have always wanted to do: create art. I truly love it.

My Wedding Photos Turned Out Just Perfect

To me, getting a photographer for my wedding was more than just getting our pictures taken.  It should be that way for everyone.  That was actually my first order of business after Harry proposed to me.  I wanted to find the perfect wedding photographer before we set the date.  I know that sounds weird, but those pictures are important to me.  I interviewed several Surrey Wedding Photographers before I chose the one I wanted to capture the great moments of my big day.  Harry and I have been married for almost a year, and we still go back and look at our wedding photos.
