Fix Ntfs Sys Blue Screen Errors using Recovery Console

You can hate ntfs sys blue screen. Why? because NTFS pertains to your hard disk. If as much as possible, we pray not to lose our files in our hard disk. You won’t be able to access your files because at startup, you’ll get the blue screen error. To resolve NTFS.sys blue screen error, you’ll need your Windows XP startup disks to boot windows. At Welcome to Setup screen, press R for repair using Recovery Console. Choose the drive you want to repair(this is the NTFS drive where you installed windows) and press enter.

cd \windows\system32\drivers

then this command;

ren ntfs.sys ntfs.old

This step renames your old Ntfs.sys file to Ntfs.old. If consoles says the Ntfs.sys file is not found, then your  file is missing.Now type the following comman(press enter after)

copy cd:\i386\ntfs.sys drive:\windows\system32\drivers

This command will copy the ntfs.sys file from your Windows CD. When its done, remove your windows CD from you CD drive and type quit to close the command prompt. Exit Recovery Console and restart your computer
