Why do doctors tell you not to eat for more than couple of days maybe more? Doctors do that, because they feel that in not eating for 3 days, individuals would be able to give rest to Pancreas. Resting the Pancreas is important because for treating Canine Pancreatitis, you would need to rest the Pancreas. In doing so, you would ensure that the Pancreas does not get overworked, which in this case can only help you in treating this form of Pancreatitis.
