Inheriting the Family Silverware

They have had a nice life together and successfully raised four children. They have decided to sell the home we all grew up and buy a condo in Florida. They are full of surprises! I was helping my mother pack in preparation for the movers last week. She went to the dining room and pulled out the chest that held her sterling silverware. She told me she wanted me to have since she wouldn’t be needing it anymore. I was so surprised that I was speechless. Then of course I cried; it was a lovely gift.
