Lawn Mower for Sloping Lawn

Although our new house is larger and grander, my new house has a sloping lawn. This means it will be much harder to mow the lawn. The best lawn mower to buy in this scenario, I was told, is a self-propelled lawn mower. This is because it will take less effort to push the lawn mower up the slope. It will cost more to get a self-propelled lawn mower though. My wife and I are still trying to decide if we want to get it.
