She called the caterer to follow up on the food. They were late and the meeting was going to start soon. She prepared everyone’s place in the meeting, double checked if all the equipments were working and made sure that boss’s report would go smoothly. He would throw a fit if the presentation was less than perfect, especially now that her boss’s boss was also there to attend the meeting. A few minutes later the caterer arrived and Karen hurriedly prepared the snacks just before her boss arrived.
