I am the lucky one that was picked this year to talk at the state of the company address. For six years I have been able to avoid giving the updates from the human resource office. Not this year, when we sat down to decide who was going to deliver the speech full of the Human Resources Current Issues, all eyes turned to me. I can’t blame them since they have all had to do this before, some have even talked twice. I just don’t know how good I will be at giving a speech. I hope I don’t embarrass my whole department.
