Baby shower is a function held for a soon to be mother, where the baby to be born is showered with gifts These showers quite similar to baptism, were held even after the baby enters the world. These baby showers which usually was meant for the first child of a couple has now extended to all the other babies they give birth to. Baby shower is meant to welcome the unborn baby into the world with pleasure, and so the whole day is spent in joy with games and fun.

The baby in the womb is cherished by both the parents, and both of them take part in the baby shower party, enjoying the fun.
