Green Cards through Marriage
November 24, 2009 on 8:35 pm | By admin | In NewsImmigration laws are pretty interesting in the United States, and one of the things I find the most intriguing is that there are an unlimited number of green cards available for immigrants. The way this works is that immediate relatives, which include spouses, do not factor into any of the quota limitations that work visas, education visa, or permanent residency requests are under. So technically you could have millions and millions of people entering the country in a short period of time – if they all consented to marrying a U.S. citizen. Beyond farfetched, I know, but interesting to think about. Learn more about immigration at the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
