I Have Learned to Appreciate Our New Pediatric EMR System

I don’t take to change as easily as some people do, and I have never really fallen in love with the computer. When the office purchased a new Pediatric EMR software program for recording the children’s weights, heights, immunizations, visits and other important data, I really couldn’t see that it was necessary at all. I have changed my mind the more that I have learned to use this system. We use several of the other templates to track special concerns and can pull out any information so easily and quickly when the doctor needs it. That keeps everyone happy. I guess that some kinds of progress are really beneficial after all.
