Cultural Events and Festivals in Brisbane

There are several unique and enlightening cultural events that occur in Brisbane, Queensland annually that should be part of your experience of Australia. The world renowned Brisbane International Film Festival is located in several different buildings, which include the Regent Cinema during July and August. Hotels in Brisbane enjoy an influx of tourism during the Bridge to Brisbane Run. It is a fun event that many citizens participate in so that money can be raised for charity. The Paniyiri Festival is held at Musgrave Park to celebrate the Greek culture of Brisbane and occurs on the premiere weekend of May each year.
